July was a super exciting month for Jon Web Design, I have launched my new website for 2017, launched my new logo and updated my Sitebuilder subscription plans to be as simple as can be!

The New Website and Logo

This year I have completely redesigned my website on my own platform Sitebuilder to fully showcase what the platform is capable of. I am 100% behind our Sitebuilder platform and know it's perfect for business!
(Previously our site was built in Joomla!)

I am also super happy with our clean and modern new logo design, some of you might have already noticed it on our email correspondence and Sitebuilder login pages.

Have a browse and leave me some feedback!

New Sitebuilder Plans and Pricing

I have simplified the process of starting your new Sitebuilder website subscription. Previously you would have had to choose a plan over the phone, pay a setup and design fee via invoice, choose whether you needed email hosting or not and also have to register the domains you wanted just to get started. This made things a little confusing even though each step was pretty straight forward, it could have been better. Also previously the setup and design fee was often a barrier for small businesses that are just starting and which could benefit from a new website the most.

I have simplified all of these processes into one simple, secure, sign up form and redesigned our pricing to remove the setup and design fee completely. Now, no matter which subscription plan you choose, I provide you with: two domain names, One Included 50gb Microsoft 365 mailbox account or free integration into your existing email system, unlimited cloud hosting, 1 hour of included phone/remote support per month, unlimited email ticket support and setup and design of up to 15 pages.

If you have existing domains I will arrange to have them transferred into a Jon Web Design account for you and your two included domains will be renewed for you as part of subscription from that point forward. Any extra's can be paid for with my
domain renewal system.

To make it risk free for all of my clients I guarantee your money back if you're not happy with your new site.
We also have no minimum contract lengths so you can cancel if you need to at anytime.
View my
Terms of Service for full details on plan cancellations.

Existing customers using my old Sitebuilder Subscriptions have had their current plans grandfathered.

There is no pressure to upgrade right now, if you would like to upgrade to the new all-in-one subscriptions i can arrange a 25% off for 6 months as a discount and a site design upgrade/refresh will be included along with all the benefits of updates and included support.

Just sign up to the new subscription you would like and I will cancel the old subscription, provide a refund for any double payments for the month and organise the change over of your existing services.

The Grandfathered plans will be given price rise in 2018 but will not be as high as the new pricing if you don't wish to upgrade.

Please Note: Support for Grandfathered plans will only be provided until the end of 2019, your site will continue to work past this point but no support, updates or new features will be available until it is updated to a new subscription.

Saying goodbye to Joomla! Websites

I have now retired our Joomla! website offering for many reasons, but the biggest one is that Joomla! Websites are much harder to use by my clients than the Sitebuilder platform. Above all I want your website to be easy to use and to update. This reason on top of being slower to setup, harder to design for and costly to maintain with updates and patches means Joomla! is not a sustainable platform any longer with the number of clients I maintain

Sitebuilder Is: easy to use, quick to setup, easy to design for from my designer perspective, it has seamless automatic updates that keep the platform secure and new features are added for no extra cost when released.

The majority of my Joomla! website customer base have chosen to move to Sitebuilder over the past 2 years and are better off for it. My clients are now busy adding new pages and information to their websites and have a great support system if they need help.

I will continue to support existing Joomla! customers by migrating their existing Joomla! website to our Sitebuilder Platform at no extra cost other than a standard Sitebuilder Subscription. I can arrange a 25% off for 6 months as a discount for Migrating Websites.
